New Zealand Auckland – airbnb staying with Patrick & Gina

I stayed in New Zealand for the first time in my life. And for my short visit I made a perfect choice. I decided to stay at a private home north of the capital of Auckland.

Located in Beach Heaven about 33 km north of the International Airport I found the big home of Patrick and Gina in the vicinity of the ocean.

At first I planned to get with public transportation there, but then decided to rent a car for two days. And my choice was Jucy who picked me up with their shuttle from the international terminal. About my positive experience with Jucy I will continue to report.

As I drove for the first time a car with the driving seat on the right side, it took me a longer to get there. When i finally got there, the view from the house was stunning and I appreciated a lot to stay there.

Even the view was tropic, it was much to cold for the pool. The temperature was only 9 degrees.

Outside and inside my hosts had created a very cozy atmosphere. See more on airbnb.

The bright colors of the outside where present as well inside the house. I stayed in a very nice bright room.

There was enough space in the house for guests. I could have used the living and tv room, but I wanted to see more from the city during my vist.

I was lucky to have Patrick as a host and his pleasure to drink good coffee. I could drink the fine coffee from the Swiss Jury coffeemachine. It was the best I had on my entire trip so far.

Unfortunately, my time there was too short to spend more time with my friendly host. The Frenchman Patrick has told me a lot, how to live as a foreigner in New Zealand. His Patnerin Gina had already 20 years ago emigrated from Serbia to New Zealand to work as a vet. She talked with me, how New Zealand was without any cafe or international community in the early years. I thank you both for the nice stay.
